Share your time and talents in a way that makes a difference in your community, brightens the lives of others, and provides rewarding and meaningful personal satisfaction. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities to choose from, including:
Hospital Escorts-Registration Assistants: Greet, direct and assist hospital patients and visitors. 8 a.m. to noon or noon to 4 p.m. weekdays as fits your schedule. Interested? Please call 715/421-7475.
Family Screening Clinic Volunteers: Register participants and receive their payments. Volunteers with medical/nursing experience may also provide blood pressure readings. 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month (except July) as fits your schedule. Interested? Please call 715/421-7402.
Lifeline Installers: Install Lifeline units (help button/transmitters) in subscribers’ homes. Installers are called as needed (about twice a month) and are scheduled for about 1 to 2 hours at a time. Installations are quite simple and typically scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays. Interested? Please call 715/421-7597.
Home Delivered Meals Drivers: Deliver hot, nutritious noon meals to recipients in the Wisconsin Rapids, Biron, Nekoosa or Port Edwards areas. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays as fits your schedule. Interested? Please call 715/421-7447.
Teen Volunteers: Assist patients and visitors in the hospital’s lobby or Surgery/Outpatient Family Lounge. Also may help as a hospital escort/registration assistant. 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays as fits your schedule. Interested? Please call 715/421-7402.
Riverview Hospital Auxiliary
